As the year draws to a close, many of us feel the pull to pause - not to overhaul our lives, but to step back, reflect, and decide how we want to move forward.

Inspired 2027 is a one-day retreat designed to help you review the year behind you, reconnect with what matters most, and look ahead with clarity and intention - without pressure, hype, or forced goal-setting.

This is not about manifesting a “perfect” future or fixing yourself.


It’s about creating space to think clearly, reset your energy, and move into the next year feeling grounded, steady, and aligned.

Held at Yoga House in Orewa, a peaceful historic space nestled beside a quiet stream with bush reserve and the ocean close by, the day invites you to step away from the noise and come back to yourself.

Now in its fourth year, this retreat has sold out previosuly and continues to attract people seeking a thoughtful, down-to-earth approach to wellbeing and reflection.


What the Day Includes

The retreat is structured to support both reflection and forward focus, while keeping the pace relaxed and accessible.

You’ll be guided through:


  • Opening Circle – A grounded arrival to settle the nervous system and set the tone for the day

  • Gentle Yoga & Movement – Accessible movement to release tension and reconnect with the body

  • Breathwork (Pranayama) – Simple practices to support calm and focus

  • Guided Reflection & Journaling – Structured prompts to review the year and clarify what you want moving forward

  • Walking Meditation (weather permitting) – A mindful reset outdoors to integrate insights

  • Individual Reiki-Infused Mini Neck & Shoulder Massage – Hands-on massage combined with gentle energy work to support relaxation

  • Meditation & Yoga Nidra – A deeply restorative practice that supports deep rest and works with the subconscious mind, helping soften habitual stress responses and gently shift unhelpful thought patterns or self-beliefs

  • Closing Circle – A calm, grounding close so you leave feeling clear and centred



Nourishment

You’ll be supported throughout the day with:

  • A nourishing vegetarian lunch

  • An all-day grazing platter with wholesome snacks

  • Herbal teas and refreshments

Do I need to have done yoga, meditation, or retreats before?

Not at all. Everything is guided, accessible, and adaptable. You’re encouraged to rest or modify as needed.


Is this retreat spiritual or “woo”?

The day is grounded and practical. While there is space for reflection and inner awareness, everything is offered in a down-to-earth, relatable way.


Can I come on my own?

Yes — many people attend solo. The space is welcoming, supportive, and inclusive.


Are men welcome?

Absolutely. Wellness is for every body, and all genders are welcome.


What should I wear or bring?

Wear comfortable clothing you can move and relax in. All props are provided. You may like to bring a journal, water bottle, and a warm layer.


What if I can’t attend after booking?

Tickets are non-refundable but can be transferred to someone else. Just let me know.
