About the event
Friday Night In – Rest, Reset & Recharge
Friday Night In is a guided evening designed to help you step away from the demands of the working week and transition into the weekend feeling calmer, clearer and more restored.
If your days are filled with decision-making, mental load and constant activity, this session offers an opportunity to pause, slow down and reset — physically, mentally and emotionally.
You’re welcome to attend solo, as a date night, or with friends or family. The evening is held in a small, supportive group and guided through evidence-informed practices that support nervous system regulation, relaxation and sustainable wellbeing.
This session includes:
• Pranayama (guided breathwork)
• Gentle Yin & Restorative Yoga
• Mini neck and shoulder massage and Reiki energy healing
• Deep guided meditation / Yoga Nidra
• Optional tea, informal chats and chocolate to finish
Yin and Restorative Yoga gently mobilise the body while calming the nervous system. The massage and reiki support deeper physical release, preparing you for a prolonged state of rest during the guided meditation/ Yoga Nidra.
What is Yoga Nidra?
Yoga Nidra is a guided relaxation practice designed to support deep rest and nervous system recovery. The practice intentionally activates the parasympathetic (“rest and digest”) response, helping to reduce cortisol levels and support improved sleep, focus, mood and overall wellbeing.
The session also includes a personal intention (known as sankalpa), which acts as a positive affirmation to support clarity and direction. Many participants report leaving the session feeling as refreshed as if they’ve had quality sleep — Yoga Nidra is often described as equivalent to 2–4 hours of deep rest.
All practices are delivered in a grounded, accessible way and are suitable for those new to yoga or meditation.
